Service Description

Attendees are taught how using the the Social Model of Disability to assert society's responsibility to remove barriers and create a more inclusive and accessible environment, rather than expecting individuals with disabilities to adapt to an inaccessible world Our Social Model of Disability training covers a wide range of topics, including: The principles of the social model of disability Disability rights and legislation Accessible design and accommodations Communication strategies and disability etiquette Stereotypes and stigma related to disability Intersectionality and multiple forms of discrimination The training may be provided to various audiences, including employers, employees, educators, healthcare providers, and community members. The aim of essential disability training is to promote equality and eliminate discrimination, enabling people with disabilities to live full and meaningful lives.
